Congress’ Poll Numbers Plummet as Gas Prices Rise
Fewer Americans approve of the job Congress is doing than approve of the job that President Bush is doing - and he’s at 28 percent in the latest Washington Post-ABC Poll. Bush: 28 percent approve, 69 percent disapprove. Congress? 23 percent approve, 71 percent disapprove.
The reason? Congress’s refusal to act on America’s most pressing economic issue right now, the skyrocketing price of the fuel that makes our economy function.
Solutions, Not Soundbites
The Tennessee Republican Party created Solutions Tennessee, a new website at www.SolutionsTN.com, to focus on solutions rather than sound bites. SolutionsTN.com will focus intently on policy issues and solutions, and providing the people of Tennessee a valuable information resource and tools to make their voices heard on important state and federal policy issues.
